Quickstart
Go from signup to your first findings — create your workspace, connect a channel, and read what Synthight found.
This guide takes you from a brand-new account to your first set of findings.
1. Create your account and organization
Sign up at app.synthight.com. You'll go through a short setup wizard:
- Account Settings — pick your language and theme (Light, Dark or System).
- Profile Information — your name, role and an optional profile picture.
- Organization — either Join Organization (accept a pending invitation, if you have one) or Create Organization (name, website, employee count, and the default language for AI-generated content).
- Select Plan — only shown if you created a new organization; skipped if you joined an existing one.
- A confetti-filled Welcome aboard! screen — click Complete Setup to land in the app.
The language you pick here becomes your organization's language — it's a workspace-wide setting, not personal to you. See Language and localization.
2. Connect your first channel
Go to the sidebar: Workspace → Connections. You'll see a card for each supported tool — Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Freshchat and Gorgias.
Click the card for the tool where most of your customer conversations happen. Each one opens a short setup flow that ends with an Initial Sync Range choice (Start from now, Last week, Last month, or Last 3 months) and a Connect button.
Connect the channel with the highest conversation volume first, and choose the widest sync range you're comfortable with — Synthight's analysis gets meaningfully better with more history, and narrowing later is easy while backfilling skipped history is not.
Full step-by-step instructions for each tool: Connect Zendesk, Connect Intercom, Connect Freshdesk, Connect Freshchat, Connect Gorgias.
3. Wait for the first sync
Once connected, the integration card's status badge moves from Connecting to Connected as the sync progresses — no need to refresh the page. Larger histories take longer to process.
Synthight only analyzes tickets that are closed or resolved — an open, ongoing conversation won't produce a finding until it's closed in your source tool. See How integrations work for why.
4. Review your first findings
Open Findings in the sidebar. Each finding shows what Synthight observed, how many conversations support it, and links back to the source tickets. The stat cards at the top (Total Pain Points, Urgent Priority, Resolution Rate, Pending Groups) give you a first read on shape and severity.
5. Invite your team
Go to Workspace → Team and click Invite Member. You'll set their email and role (Owner, Admin, Analyst or Guest).
