Creating an interview

Set up an interview's name and description, choose what respondent info to collect, and configure voice and access settings.

Click New Interview to start the wizard.

1. Interview Setup

Give the interview a Name (e.g. "Customer Feedback Q1 2026") and a Description of what you want to learn — be specific about topics and goals, since this shapes how the AI conducts the conversation. Click Improve with AI to have it refine your description.

2. Data Collection

Configure what respondents fill in before the interview starts. Name and Email are collected by default. Add more fields with Add Field, choosing a type: Short Text, Dropdown, Multiple Choice, Checkboxes, Date, or Rating (1–5). Mark any field Required or leave it optional.

4. Interview Settings

  • AI Voice — pick the voice the AI interviewer will use; click any option to preview it
  • Interview Language — English, Spanish, or Portuguese
  • Password Protection — require a password to access the interview, with an auto-generate option
  • Response Goal — set a target number of responses; you'll get an email when it's reached
